Craft Show

The craft show over the weekend went well, and I hit my goal mark of sales. There is still one more day left of the sale which will be next Saturday. Let's hope that I sell everything I have left. That would be great! But I am happy with the outcome so far, and I am already thinking of ideas for next year. Way to plan ahead, right?!

Doors From Heaven

In preparation for my upcoming craft boutique, I have been searching for some old doors to use for my display. I have not had much luck finding any and the ones that I have found have been too pricey.

So, last week I was driving down the road and to my amazement I saw a stack of about 20 doors on the side of the road with a sign that read, "FREE." I quickly pulled over and examined the
"free" doors. They were just what I was looking for except for the fact that each door had at least one ding or hole in it. I didn't care about the holes because I was going for the rustic look anyway.

I have to say that these doors were just waiting there for me and I am so thankful that I was there to retrieve them!

Halloween Fun!

Last night the kids had a wonderful time. We started the night with a pumpkin-shaped pizza from Papa Murphey's. Yummy.

We all went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood together for about 45 minutes, and then I went home to pass out our candy. When the kids finally arrived home, their sacks were bulging. I think this year is the most candy they have ever received. Let's hope it lasts until Easter!

I also posted a picture of the Spooky Halloween House the kids made. Thanks Grandma Nana!
