Clean As A Whistle

I thought I would share some pictures of Tyler having a bath. He does not care for the water very much and it shows!

Temple Square

Last Monday Clint and the kids all had off because of Spring Break, so we decided to go downtown and spend the afternoon. Before we headed out Clint made a scavenger hunt for the kids so they could be looking for certain things while we were walking downtown. Some things on the list included: Angel Moroni, Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, a Beehive, etc.. The kids loved looking around for the objects and would get so excited every time they could cross an item off of their list.

We visited the Conference Center, the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, as well as the Lion and Beehive House. It really was a beautiful afternoon and the kids loved walking around downtown. Tyler was very cooperative and slept most of the afternoon. It was nice to get out of the house and have time as a family.

Here is an awesome picture of the Temple.
Aren't my camera skills amazing!

The kids were excited to go an adventure, and
each of them insisted on packing a backpack to bring.

Happy Easter!

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday! Here are some pics from that morning.

I was in quite the rush Sunday morning since our church now starts at 9:00. Getting myself and 4 kids ready for church as well as celebrating Easter in the morning with the kids really had me in a frenzy. I am happy to say that I was actually 5 minutes early to church with all kids in tow!

Clint was finally able to attend church with us. Being on the High Council takes him away a lot and requires him to attend other wards. It was very nice to have him with us for Easter Sunday.
The kids all got a movie in their Easter basket.
Abby got a new Barbie movie in 3-D.
It came with these fun glasses!

I love Blake's face in this pic.

A Nice Surprise!

Yesterday Grandma and Grandpa Udy surprised us with a visit. They were on their way home from St. George and stopped by to say hello. Grandma took the kids and Clint to the movies and saw, "Horton Hears a Who." The kids loved it, and it was nice to have a quiet house for a few hours so I could have a well needed nap.

While they were here I had Grandma snap a photo of Clint and I with Tyler. We don't have many of those since Macy has not quite perfected her camera skills!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I have been trying and trying to get a cute picture of Tyler to post while he was wearing his St. Patty's Day outfit, but that silly kid will not wake up. I have lots of pictures of him asleep but not very many of him with his eyes wide open. So this is the best picture I could come up with.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!

He's Here!

I am soooo excited to announce that Tyler Lance Udy was finally born on March 7th and he is a cutie! He came to us a whopping 8 pounds and 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. So I guess I have an excuse of why I got so large. :)

The girls LOVE having Tyler here but Blake is not so sure he likes the idea. He tells us that he is NOT his brother. Abby was so excited to see him and in the sweetest voice asked me if we get to keep Tyler. I told her he is not going anywhere and he is here to stay! Too cute.

My mom has been here helping with the kids and everything else around the house. She has truly been a lifesaver and I don't know what I will do without her. We are all going to miss Grandma Nana.

You can check out the pics the hospital took of Tyler at http://www.our365.com/newbornportraits/babydetail.aspx?birthid=640abb36-5ba7-4801-b9f9-33b907565ff8&babyid=5719d971-26f3-4e98-b0bf-5e6914432db4

A proud Daddy, and Blake was all smiles until he realized that Tyler is coming home with us!

I am so happy he is here and here is our lifesaver, Grandma Nana!

Excited to be a big sister again!

Close, But Not Quite

What an adventurous week it has been! Last Friday I went to the Labor and Delivery to be examined because I was having some major dizzy spells, which could mean some serious problems especially with my blood pressure issues. They did blood work and some other stuff to make sure that everything was okay. Luckily the baby and I are fine, but while I was at the hospital I started going into labor and my contractions were about 1-2 minutes apart and pretty hard. They weren't willing to let me leave since they were so close together. This went on for about 4 hours and then just my luck, they stopped! I did dilate to about a 3 during this time, but I was let go and went home around 11:00 that night. What a bummer. :(

So now I have my next appointment tomorrow and most likely will be induced on Friday. Yeah! The end is so close I can almost see my toes again!
