I took the kids up Big Cottonwood Canyon today. I never realized what beautiful mountains we have here in the valley. I sat and just enjoyed their views today and loved it.
The kids enjoyed throwing rocks in the river and getting muddy. I don't know what it is about mud, but it is like a magnet to my kids. We really had a nice afternoon and enjoyed being outside.

I hope you enjoy the maid service and the breakfast buffests that is awesome!! However I am excited for you to be able to get into your new home at some point. The canyon trip looks fun and I'll bet the kids loved getting out!

You are a brave woman. I always was a little afraid of canyon streams (rivers this time of the year) since I saw you Mom being swept down one when she was just a little girl. I remember running and screaming for someone to get her. Thank heavens a man with a butterfly net reached out and got her. So now you have your awesome mother and we can thank that man with the net for saving her for us all.
