is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container (usually a tupperware or ammo box) containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value.
This is how we spent our afternoon yesterday. Clint's friend owns a GPS system and invited us to go on a "treasure hunt." The kids absolutely loved it and enjoyed searching for the hidden boxes. After finding the cache they each got to take a prize from inside. They felt like little pirates searching for treasure!
Thank you Harwoods! The family after finding our first cache.
Looking for the second cache.
Found it!
