A Fun Fourth

Our Fourth of July this year was relaxing, and the day started off with a knock on our room door. We opened the door and to our surprise there was one of the staff workers with red and blue balloons and a big handful of Pepperidge Farm cookies. In his broken English he said, "For the kids." Gandolfo is from Columbia and is always coming over to say hello to us and the kids. Although it is hard to communicate with him because of the language barrier, a warm smile and friendly wave can speak volumes!

Later that evening we enjoyed listening to the Salt Lake City Symphony and watched some spectacular fireworks that lasted for almost 30 minutes! We were literally right under the fireworks and had some awesome views. The mountains in the background just made things even more beautiful!

And what could a Fourth of July celebration be without a nice, big, snow cone!

What a nice man to be so kind to you and your family! Your kids look so cute. Tyler is getting big--just like Thomas. He is adorable!

What great experiences you are having. Little acts of kindness go so far. Hope the house is coming along well, but I am sure there is no hurry!!
