Homeless and Happy

It's official. Our home sold last week and we have been moved out since last Saturday. The only problem is that our new home won't be completed until sometime in July. There was a mix-up with the dates the builder told us we could move in, yaddi-yaddi-yadda....so now they are footing the bill for us to stay in an extended-stay hotel and to store our belongings.
Although we are homeless we are thoroughly enjoying our stay here and are loving all the amenities.

-Cable TV We did not have cable at our home.

-Maid Service They come in everyday to make the beds, vacuum, empty the trash, and they even do the dishes! I love that. :)

-Hot breakfast buffet

-Two to three times a week they even have a complimentary dinner!

-No house payment and no bills!

-Swimming everyday

I told Clint that they can take as long as they want on the new home because I am enjoying this vacation.

Our home on moving day. It was sad to say good-bye. We lived here for seven years and brought three of the kids home from the hospital to this home. Many wonderful memories. We even planted all of the trees.

Bittersweet isn't it. YOu will miss the home with those memories, but the good thing is that you take those with you. Would love to see a picture of your new home. I know Katie is looking forward to you being closer!!!
